Be the change….be the love

“Be the change you wish to see in this world.” What did Mahatma Ghandi mean when he said this now famous statement? He likely understood the clear principle that life — this life of relativity, of the time-space continuum, of breathing in (inspiration) & breathing out (expiration) — is change.  He may have recognized to flow with the river of life offers ease, while to go up the other way offers hardship & struggle.  Perhaps Ghandi understood the fastest way to manifest something in this world is to fully embody it.

Love calls — everywhere and always. We’re sky bound. Are you coming?” ~Rumi

“Is it really so that the one I love is everywhere?” What Rumi experiences is that, like change, love is ever present, continuously occurring & everywhere. The opportunity for us is embodying that love in every word, act, & deed, beginning with ourselves, our partners, our families, our heart people, our communities, our enemies, the strangers on the bus, our neighbors.

“Wherever you are, and whatever you do, be in love.” ~Rumi
